Dogs are better than cats
I helped the stray dog from the streets
Fed it with my own time
And became it's friend ,
Its loyalty unquestioned ,
I did the same with the cat from across the streets
But alas my goodness had me in my grave
For it knew well how to hide it's cruelty until
It scratched the life out of my body
Leaving me for the dead forgetting
My kindness .
